Becoming a National Parts Code Member
Who is eligible to participate in the Code?
The Code is voluntary and the NPC welcomes any recycling
business:
- that has a business name and an Australian Business
Number;
- whose principals have been free of any conviction
for violence or dishonesty for at least 3 years;
- that meets all local, State, Territory or Commonwealth
Government regulations applicable to its operations; and
- agrees to meet all the requirements of
the Participation Agreement.
How to Join the National Parts Code?
New Applications cost $385 (inc GST)

- Read the Agreement carefully and satisfy yourself
that you are willing to become part of the code. If you have any
questions - contact the NPC on 1300 663 572 for further information
and clarification.
- Print TWO copies of the
code from the downloaded document.
- On both copies, complete the details, sign
and witness the document. Include copy of Dismantlers Licence or LMCT or other State Licence required to trade as an auto parts recycler.
- Attach the Application Form after completing
the details specified.
- Send both copies to National Parts Code Inc PO
Box 4255, Doncaster Heights Victoria 3109 together with cheque with subscription fee.
- Allow 14 days - The National Parts Code will
sign your agreement and return a copy to you with your Code certificate
and allocated Code of Practice Number and point of sale Code material
and Window decal.
- On receipt of your certificate you are at liberty
to promote your organisation as a participating business of the
Code of Practice and use the NPC logo within the guidelines as
specified by the style guide located on the website.
